The Adventures of Flat Liam

Good evening,

Today we had a visitor to the room, all the way from Highland Elementary in Pennsylvania, America. Flat Liam!

So we had to welcome him as we do all of our guests.

He was then taken on a tour of our day, so to speak.

Bit of maths...

...and literacy.

Speaking of literacy, Blue Reading Group shared a bit of yesterday's text The Gingerbread Man.

After lunch we went outside to identify potential safety hazards on the playground...

...and what to do about them.

Oh, and we may, or may not, have interrupted Room 10's P.E. lesson. Perhaps.

And a good time was had by all!

CU in the morning,

Mr Grant

  2. Thank you so much for welcoming "Flat Liam" into your class. Liam and his class here in Pennsylvania were so excited to see him in another country.
I have ordered the book and it will hopefully get there in the next 2 weeks so you can read the backgroung behind the project - a bulletin board fell on him!!
It is amazing how far technology has come that the kids can watch this in there classroom.
    Thanks again,
    Pip Krauss

    1. Good morning Pip,

You are very welcome. It was great to have a visitor from another country with us for the day!! It's a brilliant idea!

And thank you very much for the book, that is very generous of you. We shall look forward to receiving it.

Perhaps we should the classes consider skyping/videoconferencing each other...though we'd have to get the time zones right. No point if your 9am - 3pm corresponds to our middle of the night!

      Cheers,
